Swift Staffing Agency's founder and president, Al Maïd worked in the human service field for many years as a residential program director. When he needed relief staff for his programs, he found that most staffing agencies were unreliable. The people they did send often sat around watching TV and acting as babysitters, not as the compassionate, caring, direct care counselors that he expected and deserved. Al knew he could do better.  He founded Swift Staffing Agency in 1996 and has built a network of loyal, hard-working, dependable direct care counselors. He recruits, interviews and trains his staff, and makes sure they show up on time and are familiar with the program he is sending them to.

Al’s clients have come to rely on him when they need staffing. Many of them use Swift’s people on a regular basis and consider them part of their own staff, requesting certain individuals they know and feel comfortable with. They know they can call Al at the last minute and when he says, “I’ll take care of it”, they can rest assured that their shifts will be covered.

Before we send staff to your program, we’ll talk with the program director to familiarize ourselves with your particular program so we can send the right person. If the person we send isn’t right for any reason, just let us know and we’ll send another worker. Once you find someone that fits perfectly in your program, we’ll do our best to send that person as often as you like.
